If you’re looking for a little wardrobe update this season then here is some inspiration. In the style of the BBC Antiques Roadshow I’ve pulled together three edits to suit different budgets: ‘Basic’, ‘Better’ and ‘Best’.
THE ‘BASIC’ EDIT
Tu at Sainsbury’s has some great examples of the trends for the season. Lots of brown shades and examples that tick the heritage trend box but at prices that won’t break the bank. Even better they tick the convenience box too, as you can pick them up as you do your food shopping!

THE ‘BETTER’ EDIT:
Boden can often be relied on for bold colours and eye-catching patterns. They have plenty of checks, argyle knits, lace, corduroy, peplums and tie neck designs typical of the trends for this season:

THE ‘BEST’ EDIT
Me+Em describes itself as “delivering designer-level quality at more accessible price points”. Their aim is to produce clothes that meet their 4 F’s brand philosophy of designing clothes that are flattering, functional, fashionable and fair. Like the other brands featured in this blog, I have selected examples of argyle knits, heritage prints, neck ties etc. that talk to the seasonal trends for Autumn/Winter’26.

If you’re someone who likes to update your wardrobe seasonally then I hope that this blog shows you how you can do so no matter what your budget. As always, I’d 100% advocate that you shop your own wardrobe first though – many of these trends are ones that we have seen before! It’s great that we can simply reuse and maybe restyle things to create new looks this season.
If you’d like help putting together a wardrobe that works for you this season and throughout the year then do get in touch. You don’t have to like clothes or love fashion to want to look and feel good every day. I’d love to see what we can discover within your existing wardrobe and help you create a wardrobe that works for the person you are and the way you spend your time – Wardrobe Edit.
