Blue is a big colour this season so here are some ideas for each colouring type on how you can wear it.

If you have LIGHT colouring, the first outfit above will be perfect for you – I’ve added taupe shoes, belt and jacket to a beautiful cornflower blue dress. (The dress is from Maje, suede jacket from Mint Velvet, shoes from Nurias Two Part and belt from Geox).
If you have DEEP colouring you need a deeper or bolder colour up near your face so this dark brown and pale blue combination works well. (The linen trousers are from Poetry – they come in 9 colours – the top is from Oliver Bonas, textured waistcoat from Next, bag from Aspinal and trainers from Gola).
If you have WARM colouring you often need to ‘warm up’ most blues, so in the first outfit here I have combined chartreuse and navy. (The chartreuse top is from &OtherStories, the skirt is from Oline, denim jacket from Crew Clothing, basket-weave bag from Love&Roses at Next and bangle from &OtherStories).
If you have COOL colouring, then blues are made for you! In the second outfit here I’ve created a bright cobalt blue and white outfit perfect for warm days. (The top is from Boden, the white jeans and bag are from M&S and the trainers are from Adidas).

Bold colours are great for you if you have Bright colouring so this combination of fuchsia pink and cobalt blue will look fabulous on you. (Dress and beaded sandals from Aspiga and canvas beach bag from eBay).
If the softer mid-depth colours suit you best as you have Smokey colouring the final outfit here could be a great choice. It combines a mid pink with blues and denim. (Blouse and loafers from Boden, jeans from Me+Em, jacket from Whistles and bag from Love&Roses at Next).
There are always ways to integrate every colour into your wardrobe so I hope this has given you some ideas.
Blue isn’t the only colour around this season, of course, so if you’d like to know which other colours you’ll find in the shops and how to wear them do book your place on the Style Boost Webinar at 7.30pm on the 8th April (& available as a recording if you can’t make it).
