A capsule wardrobe can save you time and money and what’s more it’s good for the environment too. In this blog, I’m sharing two 14-piece capsule wardrobes for those with WARM and also COOL colouring.
I’ve selected items from environmentally friendly retaillers like People Tree and Baukjen and mixed them with both budget friendly and higher end labels.
I’ve created capsules for each of the 6 core colouring types (Light, Deep, Warm, Cool, Bright, Smokey), each built around the same core navy and off white pieces. So if you don’t have Warm or Cool colouring click here to see your capsule – Light or Deep or Bright or Smokey. (Or have a look at all three if you want some inspiration for the kinds of capsules you can create).
As a lot of us are in lockdown and spending a lot of time at home, I’ve chosen mostly casual pieces, plus a smarter blouse and dress options (perfect for meetings or social get togethers on zoom!). You can easily switch things around to create either a more dressy capsule or something even more casual (maybe you’d like to add in some of the popular loungewear around at the moment, for example?).
If you’re tempted by any of the items I’ve chosen, they’re all available now (end Jan’21).
I purposely chose some short sleeved options, which can be layered as I have done above for cooler days, but which then also give you options as we start to transition into Spring/Summer. By adding in a t-shirt or two the options multiply even further:-
Now for the capsule for anyone with COOL colouring:
