After months of not being able to physically go shopping, you might be looking forward to a bit of post lockdown retail therapy. It’s definitely a good time to shop at the moment as there are so many sales around! Plus you’ll be doing your bit to help retaillers to recover after so many months of only being able to trade online.
So what are the trends for the season that you can maybe add to your wardrobe? I’ve filmed a few videos (excuse the poor quality as they were taken on my phone!), to summarise a few of them:
1. Broderie Anglaise/Crochet
If you like texture and details this trend might be just for you. You can do it in a big way in a broderie anglaise dress, for example, or you can find tops with just a sleeve or yoke with broderie anglaise detailing. A white broderie anglaise top might be perfect for summer, but there are always lots of colour choices, so you can really take your pick. And, of course, if you’ve already got some in your wardrobe then you need only shop your own wardrobe and decide how to style the item this season.
2. Colours for Summer’20
As always there is an array of colour on the High Street so will be something for all colouring types. In this video, I talk you through the big 4 colours that you can maybe add into your wardrobe.
If you don’t know which colours suit you, now is the time to find out. I’m back working again from the 4th July and would love to show you which colours really flatter your natural colouring, and as importantly, which ones to steer clear of. It makes such a big difference. Click here for more details: colour consultations.
If you like patterns, there are plenty to choose from this season. Animal print hasn’t gone anywhere, so remains an easy choice or maybe you’ll fancy one of the two pattern trends I;m talking about in this video?
So, which of these trends fit your style personality and have spoken to you I wonder?
