If you saw last week’s Sunday Times you may well have seen an article by India Night on ‘Going Grey’. It was an amusing article suggesting that we all embrace our ‘natural highlights’ (aka grey hair). Like the rest of us that are rather hesitant to do so, though, she herself suggested that someone else goes first!
So, if you’re like me and prefer to hide the natural highlights, you may like this product – instant root concealer from Charles Worthington. I’m at an age where my grey roots annoyingly start to appear only 3 weeks after I’ve had my hair coloured. But this spray is excellent. You literally spray it over your roots and hey presto the grey disappears! I honestly LOVE it! No more fiddling around having to colour your roots yourself or spending fortunes having to have your hair coloured more and more frequently. It comes in 5 shades (light blonde, dark blonde, brown, warm brown and dark brown) and is just £9.99. Given it’s selling so well it wouldn’t surprise me if they introduce new shades too!
If you do decide to ’embrace the grey’ on the other hand, then don’t forget to check that your clothing colours give you that ‘wow’ factor. Typically, those with cooler toned hair suit blue-based colours – things like pinks, purples, and blues for example, usually look fabulous. If you’d like to double check your colours and have had a colour consultation before, why not book a Colour Review and I can take you through your colours as well as update your make-up for you. Or if you’ve not had your colours analysed before, then come along and find out your 42 best colours to make you look and feel fantastic. Going grey can unleash a whole new colour palette!
